About:  Audio Essence is a Mumbai based Naga band with a wide spectrum of genre hugely influenced by the new age, off beat machine gun...heavy metal wave.

Yan and Imsang landed in Mumbai to pursue their engineering and met Chingkhie, the metal-Head from manipur and started jamming together with air guitars and air-drums(pun intended). Finally the band came into full force when Chingkhie's 15 year old unbelievably talented drummer brother, Pam joined the band. Since then, despite their busy study schedules, they have managed to perform in various shows around Mumbai and Nagaland.

On 19th July, 2008 the band released their first original "Anomaly" on myspace.com/audioessence
